Kim Katz is a Boston based artist who works in mixed media collage, as well as representational drawing and painting. She uses charcoal, pencil, paint, cut paper and paste to produce work that is visceral and intuitive in its process and its result (which means its hard to talk about but easy understand on a guttural level). She often explores the concepts of beauty, repugnance, and the mundane.
